It is a movement that has been emerging for several years in Sri Lanka, breaking away from the teas produced by large manufacturers inherited from the British colonial past.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Its dry leaf is raw, slightly twisted with bronze highlights suggesting a highly oxidized wulong tea or a \"light\" black tea. The boundary is sometimes blurred. Lochana categorizes it as wulong, I categorize it more as black tea due to its tannic structure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e In the cup, it takes on a beautiful coppery amber hue, and it reveals woody, fruity, slightly smoky notes. He was able to discover the production of pu er in Laotian villages where large-leaf tea plants are grown. He was accompanied by the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/ccl-laos.org\/fr\/\"\u003eCCL (Committee for Cooperation with Laos),\u003c\/a\u003e a French Laotian NGO, from which I am pleased to offer you two other vintages: a white tea cake and a sheng pu er.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe raw sheng pu er from Arrieulat was produced in April 2026. In the cup, it presents fresh, zesty, and herbaceous notes with a woody base and mellow tannins.
