Ali Shan Cha Red "Yunghu"

Black tea, Taiwan
2 avis

This tea comes from the same ecological garden located in the Ali or Ali Shan Mountains, as the Ali Shan Cha Wulong "Anaiza" , the Ali Shan Cha Wulong "Mimo" , the Ali Shan Cha White "Nano" and the roasted Ali Shan Cha Red "Yunghu".

A true pioneer, producer Silvia Vayiyana oxidizes part of her harvest to obtain a pearl black tea with a coppery amber liquor and warm, delicious notes of sweet vanilla and stewed fruit that will only improve over the years. This vintage was harvested at the very beginning of summer 2017. Its supple tannins and fruity facet have only become more pronounced over the years. A sweet treat to savor like a mignardise, but without the sugar!

Silvia being of indigenous Tsou origin nicknamed him "Yunghu" which means comforting in Tsou, warm like its color and its mouthfeel.
