This tea comes from Giorgi's plantation near Shemokmedi, which covers 4 hectares in the hilly region of Guria. It is close to that of our friends Nika and Baaka, their plantation being located on the other side.
I have been following Giorgi's work for several years now, but I had not yet marketed his teas.
I am very happy to offer you two of his spring vintages. This one is a white tea that I called Tetri, which means white in Georgian, from a fine harvest of 1 bud and 1 leaf. Its cup is delicate, velvety, without any astringency, vegetal and slightly cocoa-flavored on the finish. It is a very delicate tea, worthy of great vintages of white tea, very thirst-quenching.
