This tea comes from Bahkvi Tea Estate located near the town of Ozurgeti in the Guria region, which is one of the four main tea-producing regions on the Georgian west coast.
This tea garden belongs to Dato and his family, who already farmed it during the Soviet era. In the 2000s, Dato rehabilitated an abandoned plot of land where tea bushes over 80 years old once flourished, providing natural forest cover. This vintage is made from these forest tea bushes.
Harvested in spring, it develops a supple tannic structure in the cup with fresh, vegetal and slightly fruity notes. The color of its liquor is pale golden yellow.
